Our team combines deep experience in protein engineering, mammalian cell culture, dermatology, and translational development. We build technologies with clear scientific rationale and disciplined regulatory communication.
Our Focus
We work across recombinant protein platforms, cell-based regenerative approaches, and candidate biologics for dermatology and metabolic indications. Each program is developed with explicit mechanistic framing and stage-appropriate claim boundaries.

Zilong Wu
Founder
Zilong Wu is a graduate of the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His work spans organoid biology, organ regeneration, and stem-cell science.
He previously led hair follicle cloning programs, guiding projects from laboratory development through clinical investigation.
Senyan Zhang
Research Director
Senyan Zhang holds a degree from Tsinghua University and has built a long-standing research portfolio in coronavirus immunology, antibody engineering, and rabies virus vaccinology.
She is an author on numerous publications and holds patents related to recombinant rabies vaccine development. Her team has advanced immunization to a two-dose schedule—substantially shorter than the four- to five-dose regimens common in current practice.
Orion is now extending this work toward a one-dose rabies vaccine candidate, aligned with the long-term goal of eliminating rabies as a public-health threat worldwide.
